Carsten is a Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants’ Frankfurt office since 2008 and supports clients from the technology and services sector such as software vendors, IT services providers, telco operators, equipment vendors or device and HW OEMs.
He has a strong background in the IT and telecommunications industry and is a recognized expert in corporate development, strategy, growth, innovation, M&A and integration as well as in transformation, cost and performance management. Next to strategic engagements in the ICT sector, Carsten focuses on digital business models across various industries such as connected cars or smart networks.
Before Roland Berger, Carsten was Senior Vice President responsible for Corporate Strategy at T-Systems, the B2B and IT division of Deutsche Telekom from 2004-2008. Before T-Systems, he worked several years in strategy consulting. Carsten lectures on the global ICT market at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree of WHU Koblenz after having studied in Vallendar, Brussels and Houston. He lives in Frankfurt / Germany.
