“DIF2017 was an excellent opportunity to meet coordinators from other networ and support actions"
Koen De Bosschere, HiPEAC
Co-organised by ARTEMIS-IA and ITEA, DIF 2017 focused on topics of "Digital Transformation and future emerging challenges for industry". Opening its doors to international software innovation communities, Policymakers, representatives from Funding Agencies and Public Authorities. With an exhibition displaying project results from both H2020 (incl. ECSEL) and EUREKA.
A special exhibition of ARTEMIS-IA affiliations was added to presents the other key-players in the field of Digital Innovation. With a purpose of information exchange and enhance further cooperation between communities and to make the landscape of organisations in this domain a little more transparent.
The Affiliation booths provided visibility to the associations, alliances, ETP’s and similar groupings that represent companies/institutes/universities with R&D&I activities in Europe in the area of Digital Innovation.
Eight Affiliations booths were lined up and filled with lively presentations and even a mini-workshop to provide a broader scope to the ITEA and ARTEMIS-IA communities. Their interaction during the DIF 2017 resulted in some new members, new links and the opportunity to talk to many people outside their own communities. Not only communication with visitors, but also interaction amongst each other led to new discussions, and collaborations on future plans.
