The first edition of the DIF is only 1 week away. This international event is the industry-driven Digital innovation conference in Europe, showing R&I results and emerging challenges towards a vision of the future for and built by industry. DIF 2017 will take place on 10 & 11 May 2017 in the RAI in Amsterdam and will have a full-scale R&I exhibition.
The exhibition will include ECSEL-JU projects, ITEA projects, Horizon2020 projects, industry and affiliates. All exhibitors will be showing impressive results and business impact. For example:
ECSEL - ALMARVI - booth 49
ALMARVI provides a cross-domain many-core platform solution, system software stack, tool chain, and adaptive algorithms that enable massive data-rate image/video processing with a high level of energy efficiency, including mechanisms and support for a high degree of adaptivity at various system layers. ALMARVI's scientific and technological developments will be validated and demonstrated in diverse use cases from four key industrial domains: healthcare, security/surveillance, monitoring, and mobile.
ECSEL Arrowhead - booth 47
Arrowhead's vision is to enable collaborative automation by creating the Arrowhead interoperability framework to enable interoperability at a service level and significantly reduce the engineering efforts to design, engineer, deploy and maintain production automation. Arrowhead addresses efficiency and flexibility on a global scale by demonstrating the applicability of the Arrowhead Framework for interoperability and collaborative means of automation for five application verticals: Production (manufacturing, process, energy), Smart Buildings, Infrastructures, Electro-Mobility and the Virtual Market of Energy.
Theme-square AVL: Automated & connected driving - booth 53
AVL is the world's largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of powertrain technology for passenger cars, trucks and large engines. With more than 8,050 employees all over the world, the company is at the forefront of functional development and testing for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Automated Driving Features. AVL currently coordinates the EU-project ENABLE-S3, which develops novel testing methodologies and technologies for highly automated systems.
