H2020 info day of 1 December 2015

ARTEMIS Industry Association visited the H2020 Info Day to summarize relevant information for the ARTEMIS community and to make sure that we take relevant information into account for our upcoming Brokerage in Strasbourg this January. The objective of this H2020 info day on 1 December, was to inform the participants about the H2020 calls on Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (ICT 1), Digital Automation (FOF 11), Smart Anything Everywhere initiative (ICT 4), ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs I4MS (FOF 12) and Photonics Laser-based Production (FoF 13).

Each call session started with a clear presentation of the Commission regarding topic challenges, call deadlines, goals, budgets and additional related calls. Followed by a summary of point of attention for writing the new project proposals.

In short 2 minute pitches, the participants were provided with an opportunity to present their proposal ideas, after which they could invite the audience to connect through parallel meeting sessions.

Between the plenary sessions the participants were provided with plenty opportunity to network with other participants during the breaks and engage with Commission staff present.

In addition and parallel to the information sessions, there was an opportunity to ask questions related to proposal ideas to Commission staff during separate 1 on 1 meetings.

In total the scene, within Components and Systems and Smart Manufacturing, have been set with more than 20 Proposals' ideas and competencies presentations together with valuable best practice information.
