Company profile

ARTEMIS-IA is the association for Research & Development (R&D) actors in Embedded Intelligent Systems, founded in January 2007. The Industry Association has members from all over Europe: SMEs, Universities, R&D centres and Large Enterprises. ARTEMIS-IA creates meeting and networking opportunities for her community, where topics for major R&D project proposals are identified and consortia are created for R&D projects.

Our vision is that mankind benefits from a major evolution in our society, whereby our world is widely supported by Intelligent Systems. Some Intelligent Systems are already being developed, such as the self-driving car. We envision a world in which all systems, machines and objects that become smart will be connected to cyber-space to exploit the digital information and services around them, through communication with the environment and with people, and continue to manage their resources autonomously. ARTEMIS-IA aims to strengthen Europe's position in Embedded Intelligent Systems and to attain world-class leadership in this domain to support the European Industry.

The ARTEMIS-IA Office is located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The office consists of 7 team members. Internal communication is in Dutch. External communication is in English, mostly per e-mail.
