TASKS

  • Assist with the daily operations of ARTEMIS-IA Office
  • Set-up and implement mailings in cooperation with department colleagues
  • Arrange office travel arrangements
  • Distribute and file meeting agendas, minutes and other meeting documents
  • Correct, file and edit outgoing correspondence
  • Assist with the logistic & communication preparations of the ARTEMIS-IA annual events (about 3-4 per year) that take place throughout Europe. This entails mostly administrative and some organizational tasks
  • Provide on-site support at about 1-2 events per year

PROFILE
Our new colleague is very accurate and eager to learn about the company domain, has an all-round hands-on mentality and is comfortable working in a small informal team and in a non-commercial international environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You have an HBO education level or comparable
  • You have excellent organization skills, are used to multi-tasking and can set priorities
  • You have a professional verbal and written understanding of the Dutch and English language
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are able to apply accuracy, consistency and structure to your documents and filing
  • You feel comfortable with business correspondence
  • You work well with web-based applications and easily learn new functionalities
  • Your attitude is flexible and service oriented
  • You can work well independently

WE OFFER
A diverse and challenging part-time job for 0.8 fte (32 hours per week) in a dynamic international environment and a monthly gross salary of € 2500-3000, based on 1.0 fte and depending on experience.

ARTEMIS INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION
ARTEMIS-IA is the association for Research & Development (R&D) actors in Embedded Intelligent Systems, founded in January 2007. The Industry Association has members from all over Europe: SMEs, Universities, R&D centres and Large Enterprises. ARTEMIS-IA creates meeting and networking opportunities for her community, where topics for major R&D project proposals are identified and consortia are created for R&D projects.

Our vision is that mankind benefits from a major evolution in our society, whereby our world is widely supported by Intelligent Systems. Some Intelligent Systems are already being developed, such as the self-driving car. We envision a world in which all systems, machines and objects that become smart will be connected to cyber-space to exploit the digital information and services around them, through communication with the environment and with people, and continue to manage their resources autonomously. ARTEMIS-IA aims to strengthen Europe's position in Embedded Intelligent Systems and to attain world-class leadership in this domain to support the European Industry.

STRUCTURE
The ARTEMIS-IA Office is located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The office consists of 7 team members. Internal communication is in Dutch. External communication is in English, mostly per e-mail.
