The COPCAMS (COgnitive & Perceptive CAMeraS) project aims at a new, many-core programmable accelerator platform for smart cameras and gateways, able to extract relevant information and autonomously react to the environment, operating on a large, distributed scale. The COPCAMS project leverages recent advances in embedded computing platforms to design, prototype and field-test full large-scale vision systems.
